I recently bought a 88 hurricane 600f and it had charging problems. I have it figured out to the stator or regulator and/or both.
I was wondering if there was a way to find out which one is failing without a multimeter tester.

 

Without diagnosing it using the proper tools, you are guessing. It's a 50/50 shot, so guess the regulator since they have a track record of failure and it's easier to do.
