Default Looking for cheap/used gear

Hey I'm looking for a jacket and helmet for my girlfriend as well as a matte black(prefer scorpion) helmet for me. Does anyone know some good websites (besides ebay, I've been watching) to look for this stuff?

Also, any cheaper cost brands that are still quality items for womens helmet/jacket?

Thanks a ton

Motorcyclegear.com usually runs really good close out deals. Revzilla.com and motorcycle-superstore.com are good sites as well.

For used stuff, ebay and craigslist are your best options. I'd personally go new on buying the helmet, just so you know for sure it's in perfect condition.

For the girl, check out some stuff from Shift racing, they have tons of gear on sale right now (both revzilla and mc superstore carry them).

hey, i know i'll probably get flamed for this, but if you have a few pawn shops in your area, check there. i've gotten a lot of nice gloves and jackets from them at a crazy discount.

that is the best helmet i've ever owned as far as everything goes, comfort, vis, noise, etc. - and as far as the crash rating, i can personally attest to how well they hold up. i think its the best value there is

Pawn shops, thrift stores (i.e. salvation army, goodwill) are the best bang for the buck. I got my sweetie a brand new leather jacket for $5 and a new pair of doc martin boot for the same. Picked up a new pair of chaps for her on craiglist last weekend for $50. I also found a pair of barely used Sidi's for me for $65 a couple of weeks ago.

The only thing you have to spend is a little patience and gas till you find the gear that's right for you. Plus, added bonus, you get to poke through other peoples' stuff and check out their garage/shops, too. lol

whats that one website - like newenough.com or something along those lines.

I know a few people here have recommended it for gear i've never used it myself - they don't sell Dainese or Shoei
