Loan

RE: Loan
Get a credit card and start establishing credit. No late payments, no excuses and especially no gone to collections. Stay with a job, at least a year, even more will help. Think smaller now or at least cheaper. Be patient. Start small, I had car repairs while in college, only owed $50 but I paid when I said I would. I started establishing credit history at 18, first new car was when I was 20, bought a house when I was 25. All this on not much of an income.

RE: Loan
If you can get someone with good to decent credit to co sign you should have a problem with 3,500. So I would suggest something in the 5-5,500 price range. I had my mom co sign on a 3,500 loan and I got it w/out a problem. I make less than 20,000 a year and had no credit. Thats the only way though co sign or wait and start building credit then try again.

RE: Loan
I agree, as far as building a little credit.. I know when i was trying to get a bike a few years ago since i was so young they wouldn't aprove me for shyt...... I had great credit but just not enough. Its alot easier to get approved for a car than a bike when you have little credit due to the fact that a bike is more of a recreational type vehicle and not a necessity like a car is....
