Default Anybody every take over loan

Ok I found a 08 that the guy would let me take over his loan.. Do banks let this happen my score is very good and just can't find anybody giving bike loans for used PP.
Any help would be great..

somebody tell me if I'm wrong, but I believe you would have to get a loan to purchase the bike for what he owes then start paying your bank

Taking over someone else's loan can be a disaster - the bike's never in your name, and the owner could even sue you for theft unless you have something in writing.
Get your own loan for the bike - safer by far.

The bank is only going to approve you for the amount the bike is worth.

I would only pay what the bike is worth. Dont give him more than that.

+1, a,lot of people try to sell for what they owe, when they bike/car is not even worth that. if it is a good deal get your own loan, if you have great credit you shouldnt have a problem getting a loan.
