There is a store that I go all the time, and most employees there know me well. This morning, just to go there, I left house later than normally I do. Then this lady tells me I have to leave my backpack in the locker. I was picking up only one thing and I wasn't gonna walk around and shop. Maybe I was already in a pissy mood, but anyways, I was not happy about that and left. Maybe I was lucky last 2 years for not getting stop, but it is irritating in a sense that I would been out there before I finish purring my backpack in the locker and go pick up an item.


One time, one greeter lady at Sam's club stopped me for my itty bitty 9 inch backpack!! now, that is way smaller than normal lady's purse.

 

i take my full back pack places like walmart and no one says a word.

Chit, I'll keep my helmet on & visor down too...with back back on. For some reason, when you take your helmet off, less intimidating?

 

^^^lol! that is funny. hmm that is crazy tho. I'll keep my backpack on usually and just carry my helmet. I wouldn't be a happy person if someone questioned my about carrying my stuff in. it wouldn't be a good situation for that person. it is funny bc you see women bring there "purses" in that look like they could stuff a body in it bc it is so large!

 

Chit, you heard that story on the news last night?? Some 17yo girl walk into a restroom of supermarket, with a big bag. Came out change clothing, small bag....and dumped a 3 day old baby in trash bin...that's some crazy, ruthless **** man...could of drop off any firehouse/ church/ gas station/ alive and no question ask...

 

That happened to me while I was living in Korea a few times. I told the guy to go **** himself in English, gave him the finger, then went back in 5 minutes and they didn't say ****.

 

Meh, I ignore poeple like that and just keep walking, What are they going to do, not serve you? lol

 

I have gone to a counter in a convienience store to pick smokes with my helmet on and gloves. I ask for a pack of Marboro's with my credit card out and they refuse to sell to me with a helmet on, thinking they are going to be robbed. Ok, credit card out, asking for just one pack of cigarettes and not asking for cash from the register and they will refuse me. This isn't just one store but most. So I quickly stop with the bike running, run inside to only pick up smokes and refused. Bull$h!t.

 

I always wear my backpack into stores and I've never had an issue.
I keep expecting to get chit over it, but it just never happens.
