So a good friend of mine is buying his first motorcycle soon, and we've got some pretty solid plans to ride together. He is buying a CBR500R (most likely) and I may be upgrading to a CBR600rr or a CBR500R depending on insurance (see my insurance thread). Anyways, we want to get plates that when together (like in traffic or parked) will have a phrase or something on them. But we also don't want them to look stupid when alone...luckily we are getting bikes registered in different states so we could in theory have the same plate.

Ideas so far have been pretty bad...

But none of them are very good...any ideas (even if you think they're bad) would be awesome, thanks!

 

Haha, tbh if I saw 2 guys with plate that went together like that, I'd assume your 'more than just friends'. In fact, I don't know if that is the case, so no offense if it is.

In all seriousness, I'd avoid them. If you are ever in a hurry down the interstate and you are going fast, its alot easier for a cager to call in a plate to the police that reads "Zoom" than "C58240" or something. Less attention when you are on the bike, the better!

Haha, he is definitely not more than a friend...I've been dating my current girlfriend for over a year now and don't think I'll be switching teams...ever...

It was just an idea, I like the HONDA-CBR idea though, that way neither of us look like idiots when we're alone, but together they kind of match up.
