Default LED law in your state.

does anyone know what colors are legal in your state?

if you know it, post it here so people can benefit from it.

with that said, anyone know what is the state of ohio take on blue under glow???

i want to put blue leds on my wheels so when i ride it looks like the light cycle. but it might be illegal.

5 Section 1. Title 75 of the Pennsylvania Consolidated 6 Statutes is amended by adding a section to read: 7 § 4310. Motorcycle lighting. 8 Auxiliary lighting may be added to a motorcycle to protect 9 the driver, including blue dot illumination, standard bulb 10 running lights and various colors of valve stem caps, light- <--11 emitting diode (LED) pods and strips, light wire, neon tubes and <--12 strobe lights.

Guess that's one thing that european countries are more up tight about: front: white only, side: yellow only, back:red only, and if the original light is of incandescent type, one cannot replace it with a LED one. If other colors want to be used, or underlight neons under the vehicle, or displays attached to the cockpit into a place where the driver can see them whilst driving, they have to be wired through the handbrake or other device that prevents the use when the vehicle is moving.

In Ontario, Canada the law is very vague.

They say no blue or red to the front and no intermittent whatsoever.

"Red and blue lights to the front restricted
(14.1) In addition to the lighting requirements in this Part, a police department vehicle may carry lamps that cast red and blue lights, but no other motor vehicle shall carry any lamp that casts red and blue lights to the front. 2007, c. 13, s. 17"

In Virginia, you can't have any unnecessary lighting inside or out...period.

Strobes are definitely not allowed on moving vehicles not responding to an emergancy.
i.e. vollies going to station or chiefs going to the scene.
