Shift jeans. like 70 - 100 bucks depending on what style you want / where you buy em.

I have the Shift Torque Thrusts. I really like them - they look good too. I purchased the darker color.

They're cut a little long so they don't look like highwaters when you're riding. I found that they run small though - I wear a 32 jean usually and I bought a 36 in these. (They had them at my local bike store to try on).

I tried a pair of those on today at the local dealership. Comfy and a good value. Unfortunately I'm kind of short (barely 5'8"). Normally I wear a 34 or 36 the 38's fit my waist with a little room to spare but i would have to be walking on stilts to not wear the bottom 8 inches off on the concrete :P

Hmmm - yeah I'm 6 foot and they are a little on the longer side as I said earlier. I guess they don't make em in a "Short" version?

Have you considered the women's jeans JP? hahahah

That's normally what I wear but they don't have the "clearance" I need on a bike :P

doesn't your grandma/mom/wife sew? just get them hemmed up. if they sew they should be able to do it in a few minutes.
