Just wanted to see what you guys think of it im geting that or a cbr RR plus whats this slipper clutch im hearing about whats the difference and anyone ever rode the zx-6RRs?Oh and what colors can you get the zx-6rr if i can i wanna get a blacked out one dont like the bright *** green i made another post about it in other bike section but no one replys over there so let me know

 

oh and on the slipper clutch i did a search on it nvm i see what it does kinda sucks if you wanna do a wheelie

 

I've rode the ZX's... nice bikes. You did the reserach on the slipper... made for racing, not stunting. I still like the looks and feel of my CBR a lot more, but the ZX always kept up with me and is a nice bike.

 

I have saw red, blue, green, silver, and a few older yellow and black ones......not all black though. On kaw website they have a new ZZR600 that is all blacked out but all the ZX6RR phots they have are green....I dont care about the color....as long as its not pink, but I do like the green models!

 

I've only seen green zx6rr's. I've seen a few different colors in the zx6r which is the 636. Good luck finding a 6rr, I've only seen one in person.

 

seriously buy what looks best and what feels best when u sit on it....performance is all so close ....

 

if you get a kawi get the 636 with the matte blue color (no gloss at all) it's sick!

 

yeah i just bought a 06 kawasiki zxrr 636 i love it, the slipper clutch is cool, like lets say ur in 3rd gear and u down shift to 1st gear the clutch will slip so ur back tire dosnt lock up like on other bikes do and that thing about wheelies that guy dosnt know what he is talking about, cause i can ripp a wheelie with ease and ride it forever!!!!

 

Well, the 6r and the 6rr are two different bikes with two different engines. The 6r is the 636 and the 6rr is a 600. The 6rr was built so kawi could still compete in the 600cc class.

 

Thanks for the input guys ive sat on cbrs before and i can flat foot it with one foot and i like the way it feels i have yet to sit on a kaw o and about the slipper and wheelie thats what someone else said in another thread they said becuase you have a slipper you cant slip the clutch you might power it up but i dont know about clutchin well i gotta finda a kawasaki dealership down here in pueto rico have yet to even see a yamaha one
