Chances are if you go into the Career field where you need security clearance (chances are you won't be at 17-18-19-25 years old) you won't have to worry. As for college, and being a straight A+ student obviously you are smart, why in the hell did you do somethign petty like steal? LOL idk man I hope this doesn't destroy your future, but if it's grand larceny you won't be going to college anywhere. Sorry bud, we need some more Fast food employees anyways, they never are fast enough...

if they don't press charges it will be dropped but if they do, you will have it on your record if they choose to bring it over from your minor status and try you as an adult, thats if they press charges.

it probably won't follow you... unless you got jail time. Then you're screwed! But since you're on the cbrforum talking to us you aren't in jail so you're cool

ive heard mixed opinions about the matter. i dont think you will have a problem. my friend got arrested for aggravated armed robbery and he is on probabation right now for 6 years. he did some time in jail, month here, and a month there, he has been arrested 2 times since then, and he still passes background checks. i would not worry about a property theft charge. what did you steal? i think over $100 is larceny.

oh yeah, and he wasnt a minor during any of this.
