I wish it was free! They stopped issuing vouchers for us here, so there goes $250. But it will be worth it.

Nice. That sounds like a pretty intense class. 5 days? Do they schedule it around work hours?
yes. thursday, friday, and monday, you're in there from 6-9pm

i think this should be required for everyone to get the license. think about it: when you were in drivers ed, how many hours did you have to spend with an instructor? When you get your motorcycle license from the BMV, how many seconds do you spend being observed by an examiner?

get my point?

i'm a somewhat experienced rider and i learned a ton from the beginner course. i'm going to take the advanced next! it's only a 1 day course...

None. Computer test and got my license.

I think the course is valuable for people who haven't yet bought a bike - it's a cheap several day long test drive. - I tell anyone interested in getting a bike to take the course NOW - It's only $50, and a blast - Plus you get your license much easier - take the written and show your completion certificate.

One of the gals in my class dropped out - her dad was ready to get her a bike (MPG thing) but told her to finish the course before he'd pay out. - She dropped out and decided 2-wheeling is not the way for her to go.

Only 2 drops in our course - out of8 riders - fun was had by all and lots learned - I think it was 4 evenings (M-Th 6-9P).

im half way through a 4 day class (2 days class time, 2 days riding), i was riding on a beautiful eliminator and i had a blast on it... im still trying to get acquainted with the friction zone and stalled many times but it was my first time and i never had any experience driving a manual transmission. all in all, i learned sooo much and the coaches were awesome!!
the class was $0.00

Depending on where you take it at, if you are under 18 it's free.
I think military folks get it free also.
