Jacket ?
Sorry guys had posted this in the riding gear section and wasnt getting any responses, usally not alot of traffic in there. https://cbrforum.com/m_518101/tm.htm I was just curious if you guys think the AlpineStar SMK jacket is a decent jacket and also if it fits about the same as a joe rocket jacket like the blaster. I found one on E-bay going for 100 so figured id ask.
i have the A* mx-1 and i'll give you my opinion on THAT A* jacket (i assume they'd all be the same).
the torso's are long. if i went down one size, the sleeves and under arms would be too small. yet when i sit on the bike the jacket is bunched up a bit. im 5'9" and even had the A* guys at the I.M.S. show this past year tell me that is the one i needed. idk, torso is long.

I thought have a longer torso jacket was a problem too. But after yesterday, I am glad it was on the long side. I personally think the more area you can cover, the safer it is. As long as it is not a hinderance to your riding.
I would go to your local cycle gear or dealer and try on that jacket. I have found that A* tend to run a bit small. But I am aerodynamically challanged, if you know what I mean

I'm 6'3 and my A* Stunt Air Flo fits me nice, perfect torso length and arm sleeves are good length also.
EDIT - It's an XL...the large was too tight for me in the body and the sleeves ridiculously short...the XL fits me nicely...I'm tall and long-armed...

Ive had two Joe Rocket jackets and I am now riding a A*. A* seem to be for a longer and slimmer torso. My Joe RocketsSeem better for a less aerodynamic person. (Sorry DW
) (Dont beat me up[&:]) They have a larger shoulder and chest area. Thats the difference that I have noticed from having threejackets.
