Hey Everybody,

I know there are a good number of nerds on this forum (myself definitely included) and a friend showed me a pretty cool gadget that some dude came up with - http://gizmodo.com/368958/build-your...ed-alarm-clock - I think I'm going to try to make one myself.

What cool / techy / nerdy things have you guys made?

 

Way above my skill level to even think of something like that.

 

Well, my invention would do the following:
[ul][*]Lessen traffic[*]Reduce dangers to motorcyclists[*]Reduce the number of road kill[*]Increase personal freedom[*]Reduce the commute time (significantly).[*]Increase greenspace in cities[*]Increase overall safety[*]Help the economy[*]Help auto workers[*]Reduce dependancy on foreign oil[*]Possible reduce out carbon footprint (see previous)[*]Better emergency response in disaster areas[*]Provide people the means to provide help in said disasters without taking to much from them.[/ul]But the idea is bottled up in my head and I am not revealing at this point of time. It's not 100% my idea...but implementation well, that's mostly mine.

 

looks like alot of time for something I can just turn on my computer.
