haha, good thing, i cant say anything though, i just bought my gear two weeks ago and had been riding for about 8 months without any(had my buddies gear for the first few months that i rode) but im glad i finally broke down and spent the money. +1 on better safe than sorry.

 

It's time for me to get a new helmet and new gloves too...

 

It gets to be an addiction if you do it enough. A good addiction however. I just bought boots and a 300 dollar leather jacket. Time for a new helmet!

Once I bought my helmet the addiction hit me and soon I had every piece of gear except a back protector lol.

 

I just bought myself my new pants and boots...teknic chicane leather pants, and alpinestars SMX plus boots... and a smoke windscreen for my helmet..ill be writing a review when i get everything..the pants are only $170!! full leather..knee sliders..couldnt pass it up and they have great reviews

 

okay... I go to order all the gear today, and what the f**k??? Now its saying everything, the helmet, gloves, and jacket are all "unavailable". This is starting to p**s me off so bad... I checked a few other items, and its bringing up "item unavailable" for pricing on everything, so Im going to say theres something wrong with the site, so hopefully itll be fixed... or Ill end up spending an extra $100 or so ordering from somewhere else... anybody know whats up with newenough.com?

*edit: okay, nevermind... the sites back up with prices and everything, so hopefully ill get to order everything here in the next few minutes

okay, forgot to update this.

Well, the Daytona jacket had been backordered from the warehouse, so NewEnough removed it from the order and refunded me the money. They shipped out the helmet and gloves, which arrived about a week ago. Well, as soon as they refunded my money, I ordered a different jacket, an Icon Merc Hero jacket. Well, it finally arrived today, and Ive gotta say, I f**kin love the thing!

It feels good to have at least some real gear (boots and pants are next... probably after I go to school so my parents dont b***h about me ordering $200 boots and $300 pants lol

And now I know what you icon guys are talking about what with the St Christopher medallion in the pocket ... nice touch, Icon

*edit: and Im still hell-bent on getting a Daytona jacket... a riding jacket, plus with its styling, I could see me using it as a casual jacket (and it wont be a cliche black leather jacket)... maybe next summer.
