welcome back, welcome back, weeelcooome baaaaaaaaaack.........hahahaha, had to

well, good to hear you kept your pride and joy! i know the feeling you had...somewhat. my bike is my daily commuter aswell as my fun backroads toy. im riding my bike year 'round here in MD and i feel the same sometimes. i just dont have that feeling anymore like i did when i FIRST got the bike aless than a year ago. i sometimes wish i could go back to that feeling, lame as it sounds...although im sure you ALL KNOW what im talking about. that FIRST time you threw a leg over, started it, kicked'er in gear and let that clutch out....the FIRST time you hit the highway/open road and got out w/ traffic, the FIRST time you stop out on a main road on your first highway ride and your feet touch the asphalt...something you NEVER do in a car. sometimes i wish i could have those feelings back. its definately different once you spend so much time on that seat.

although, leveltwo.......it only takes me about a day or two of not being on it to crave it again. to feel the wind.....*aaaaaaaah*......the pleasures of owning a sportbike. i think i might have to go out for a ride .

welcome back leveltwo, be safe out there.........oh, and dont take the simple pleasures for granted. keep the bike....keep riding, be safe!
Ahhhhh hahahhah man reading that made me think back and definitely brought back some memories I sure wish I would have taken a picture of my bike that night..... not even 1 hour old off the showroom floor and I already took the fairings off and duct taped a whole stack of shop rags over each engine cover "just in case" LOL. Went over to the parking lot at the church by my house and learned to ride. After awile I finally got out of 1st gear, got up to 30 mph and I was like "OMG this is so cool!" hahaha. Then the cops came and harassed me and I had to leave [&:] After all my seat time I don't quite get that same feeling as the first time, but even still if I go a couple of days without riding I start going through withdrawls, hahahah. It still gets me all warm and fuzzy everytime I fire her up though Ahhh yes.... good times indeed!

yeah, welcome back. I think everyone goes thru times, I usually lurk quite a bit here, almost everyday, but rarely ever post anymore.

glad you didnt make any hasty decision about selling your bike. I bought my first bike about 7yrs ago, and have never been without one since- even if I ever get to the point that i rarely ride, there are those days, when you just have to ride

Welcome back! You're right about the recent weather here in MO, hopefully it keeps up and just a bit of time and we'll be done with this winter.

You do raise a valid point, though. Most people I know that have actually been riding for some years now, have either moved to the track and may not even own a streetbike, or they just put like 100 miles a year on the bike.

Makes me anxious to see what all the hype about the track is but then again, I'm afraid I'll lose the bug to get it out everyday...

I went to TOC last year, but none of those people were there. I went to see The Used and 30 Seconds to Mars. Another show I went to AS was there, they walked out on stage, played two chords, threw their guitars on the stage, said f*ck this, and walked off .
