Surely there's some sort of internet gambling statute that prevents it. Sure would be fun though...

Raffles and Giveaways are considered "Games of Chance." Each state has their own laws, but usually the gaming commission oversees those. You can become a 503C charity and conduct games of chance in which proceeds benefit a winner and a portion to the non-profit, however, you must have 503C status for at least three years prior to holding such an event and they are fairly well monitored. I am currently one year into my wait to have raffles that benefit my organization. We help people in need. And I need new rearsets. LOL
