i know gas is a b*tch right now. im kind of thankful my bronco isn't running right now so i'm never tempted to take it out.


the buell is getting around 50mpg right now, so i'm thankful for that at least

I refinanced mine about a year ago and reduced the payment by a little over $800 per month. I didn't do it to lower my monthly payment but rather to pay my mortgage off early.

Now when I make a payment I include an extra $800 each month toward the principal. I end up paying about the same each month as I had been but I'll be paying off my loan several years earlier and saving about $5,000 in interest.

My current rate is 3.0% fixed for 7 years but it'll be paid off before then.
