Well, not the whole state, just Georgia State Police, and I dont hate them either, but they really like to nitpick in that state. 5 over in the left hand lane passing a semi I get pulled over for doing 5 over, yes again 5. Now I know speeding is speeding, but come one, really. And I was passing, but hey, he didnt care. So that was a nice Thanks for passing through the state heres a commemorative gift.

And any of you who live around Atlanta, I have no idea how you deal with the traffic!!!

I really think the economy has came to this. "Boys get out there and make some revenue for us, since the economy is atall time lows were not getting the funding we had hoped for."

And the reason I say that. Is I had to renew my DL this past week and I was told I couldn't because the state of Oregon has a hold on it. Seems back in 1992 I got two tickets speeding 65 in a 55 and no seat belt. I paid the seat belt one and don't ever remember getting the notice on the speeding one. needless to say I have renewed my lic 2 times prior to this one with no suspension from Oregon. After calling and playing the chase it down game and arguing 16 years later, really?. They are willing to drop the charges but I still have to pay a reinstatement fee of $75 to the DMV. The only reason I agreed was its the quickest way to get it done and not go through the ordeal with my insurance cancelling me and causing more aggravation.

I wasnt going for that hard RCR, haha. But It was 1030 PM and was about over it. I am not going back to Georgia for $125 though.

 

I'm always blown away by 5 over tickets. I can't think of a single way to justify that.

not only that X, but i know personally i dont like sitting behind tractor trailers. so if it takes 5 or 10 over as im passing him, then so be it. i've had them throw a signal on while im in their blind spot (passing of course, not just sitting there.....thats asking for trouble). so i always make sure to blast right by them as to not put myself in a bad situation. so D2VW, i say you did nothing wrong!

 

wow thats retarded.....5 over usually gets thrown out if you goto court but if your not from there who would go back and fight it? and +1 about Atlanta...
