I guess Mattie wasn't kidding.....
Not long ago in a thread that escapes my memory, Mattison described the math that goes into speeding tickets in Finland. While I 100% believed him, I guess I didn't extrapolate the consequences of speeding if you were a person of wealth. I guess that's because I'm not a person of wealth.
But anyway, check out this.
Finland, Home of the $103,000 Speeding Ticket

...and that's not even the biggest of them all! back in 2002 a chap called Jussi Salonoja got a ticket of 200k us $ worth for speeding as he happend to have 11,5m income the last year. Sucks to be rich in Finland!

To sidetrack slightly.
Where I live in the UK, in some streets they have introduced a 20MPH speed limit. So even allowing for a 10% discretionary margin of error, you could theoretically get charged with speeding at 23 MPH!!
I'm no speed freak on residential roads and believe there is a time and a place for it. But really, 23 MPH?
