Congrats, but I'll warn you to take it easy on 2nd gear. Yamahas are known to have the 2nd gear go out at anytime for any reason in that era. I just about bought a '96 yzf 600 but I did some research and decided to pass up on it. then I ended up buying a 95 Kawasaki zx750 and the tranny was all messed up anyway LOL. It looks to be a really clean bike for a 97 though, be safe

I Joined the forums when i planned to get a CBR F4i, but ended up getting a YZF600R... But i still gotta bike!
