it looks good from that angle.. but the exhaust, i dont know if i could get over that look..

Exactly. The exhaust is not in that pic and you can't really tell how smashed the nose really is. It's really just taking too many things from other manufacturers and not keeping to a proven popular design with the 600rr. A few simple changes to the 600rr's styling would make an excellent 1000.

I told Honda to have HID's. I also called it "bloody atrocious" since I'm aparently from England.

Why not give a bad review anyways even if you like the bike. that way they will make a killer bike in 09'and you will still have your Fugly bike.

This is not ugly.

that doesn't look bad at all. I just can't get over the low exhaust, I mean if I wanted that I would buy a frickin R6. But this one is supposed to weigh less and have more "flickability". They all say that though. I dunno, with an undertail kit it might not be too shabby

Anybody else think that a 5 spoke rim would make them look more updated along with HID?
How do you all feel about the slipper clutch? Should it come standard or what?

IMO the rims would look bad *** the same color as the cases...

The tail is so small, those pictures look tight though. Not sure about the front, it looks too much like a Zx14 or a bumblebee

I don't like the new bike's looks, and I really hate the exhaust when you stand it next to earlier models. Stand it alone, and it may be fine, but compared to the '07, I would rather have an '07...I'll bet it kicks ***, though. Form or function? The future will decide. I think of the thing I know best (guitars...and I don't know much ). I hate the look of the Fender Telecaster, but love the sound, and hope to some day own one. In my opinion, if it works good...enough said.

Having said that, however, this is a tough act to follow:

Tough act to follow is right, but they shouldn't completely stray from what works well. Honda redesigned too much.
