I think that the 750 is nothing more than a sales tactic to make people buy a smaller engine before they move up to the big and scary 1000. Pure bs to me.
youre my hero for that comment. also theres a reason ONLY SUZUKI makes a 750 and yammy killed the r7, and kawi killed the zx7, they suck lol....750s are GAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYY

What are you talking about? With that logic, then what's the point of a 600?

the logic is: squids that whine about 600s being slow but are afraid of the 1000, 750 is a compromise

Only from a squids point of view. A more serious rider, like myself, would like to have one in addition toa 1000 or a 600. The current suzi 750 is the same structure as the 600, but with over square bore for the extra 150 cc. Just like a 600 on super steroids. Nimble with more power and only 10 lbs more.

ps, squids aren't afraid of the 1000's....that's usually the first bike they buy

The 750 is pretty much the same thing as the 636. People will buy them just to say they dont have the lower end 600's.

Kind of like morons wanting NOS to look cool.
