Home Workout Versus Gym
I get enough of a work out at my job. (whats that hair saying) I don't just own my own business Im an employee too. I think its more of an ego thing. I can out do all the young ones on the job site.
still pretty fit for an old man.

You know, I remember getting **** at the gym because the guy was saying I wasn´t doing it right (in terms of reps and sets not form). I was following a set plan. I stopped going after that. I hate people.
For me the hardest part is getting to the gym. If i could have a full gym in the garage i would but that's too expensive. I love to stay fit so its not about working out its about me feeling in shape. I only run outside so i don't need a treadmill, although the gym is nice to get away from the bullsh!t at home.

a few things I hate about the gym
1) those weird dudes that stare at themselves flexing in the mirror. Whats up with that!
2) The personal trainers cost a fortune, and are often in not as good shape as me.
3) The limited time on tredmills. I used to do long distance running in highschool, 30 mins is not enough!
4) Never really getting to met the hot women, that go there. I've tried, it's an exclusive club I can't get into.
5) The elitism that all the owners/regulars have, where they like to kick you off a machien if they want it.
I like running outside, clean air. get to see things. and has all the positives of fitness.

2) I know what you mean. Personal trainers cost a lot! That's what you get the info you need online and workout with a buddy.
3) I agree!
4) It's an exclusive club that I can't get into either.
I used to work out a LOT in a gym but I really dont like going unless Ive got someone to go work out with. And lately Ive been focusing more on endurance and cardio than building muscle so I can get a good enough workout anywhere by just running. Im saving up for a road bike right now so Ill probably end up cycling mostly.
Daaa gym. I can't afford even a quarter of what I use at the gym. Plus it makes me get out of my comfort zone at home and actually get a good work out in. On top of that, it is always interesting to see what other people are doing for workouts and pick up on some good exercises you may have not known before.
I wish I had the motovation to lift some weights. I had a good thing going this summer while away from school whereI would run 2.5-3 miles every other day, and I was able to bring my pull up count too about 12.
I wanted to join the Marines, and still kinda do, but Ive never been the big kid, and I still a bit small for my age, but eh, well see

I recently just got back into a gym environment and immediately noticed it was more competitive. Everyone looking at you seeing how much you are lifting and what not. Kind of annoying but I got my membership free so I figured "F it," as long as I just pay attention to myself I'm not worried about how much everyone else is lifting.
