Default Hit a tumble weed

And I dont mean a little one the size of a basket ball. I'm talking about as big as my bike and taller than me sittin on my bike.

I was heading to my dad's place (10miles out of town), pitch black and the wind picked up and 3 giant tumble weeds came onto the highway. Going 70mph...........hit a giant tumble weed that sticks to the front of the bike like a magnet. I had to just let of the gas and coast off to the side. Brake hard and the thing flew off. All this while cars passed me. Thanks for stopping ********.

I stop for me people than this whole city of people combined.

I did the same thing today (but in the rental car). It was a huge frickin tumble weed and POOF it blew up the second I hit it. It's been miserably windy all day. Cold weather sucks enough, but high winds on top of that is just retarded. Mother nature deserves to get kicked in the ovaries.

Cars never stop for bikes. Maybe they think we are a bunch of Harley riders who are going to rob them or something.

A couple Sundays ago I ran my bike out of gas. It took me a second to figure that out and by then I killed my battery(My battery was toast anyways and this didn't help) trying to start it. I couldn't push start it either. I ended up calling a buddy to come get me (About 20minutes away) with some jumper cables.

In 30degree weather in a visible gas station(Closed it was 11pm)sitting on a pump I must have had 50+ cars pass me and not even look my direction. And it was from all kinds of people not just stuck up beemer drivers. I had rednecks in jacked $70,000+ pickup trucks with $70,000 in accesories and lights who I know had jumper cables, Brothers in a Benz, Soccer Moms in Mini-vans, another motorcycle(Harley go figure), car full of jailbaitand just about all demographics. The irony is I was hoping to see a cop who could help me and was in a highly traveled crossroads that I always see cops at. And not a cop in sight.

When my buddy pulled up a Honda Goldwing stopped as my buddy was stopping and asked if I needed any help. I asked if I could grab on to his heated grips for a second so I could feel my hand againand he did. OH MY GOD I WANT A FREAKING GOLDWING.

Too bad you couldn't have gotten a picture of a Tumbleweed on your motorcycle. But glad you are okay too.
