So I'm pretty siked! ... The family got a Digital SLR Nikon D40 and I'm wanting to take pictures soooo bad but its snowing. .. I'll post up when I get the bike out.

So Icouldn't wait......lol

Remember though, it's not always the camera.........it's the way you take the picture. Play with the camera a lot and get used to it.......your pics will be so much better once you know the camera and all the settings. (and get a UV filter for the lens too)

+1. Just because you have an expensive kitchen, doesn't mean your g/f or wife can cook.

Same thing goes for cameras.

I have a nikon d40.

 

The D40 is a badass camera. My GF had to get one for school. There are a ton of things that it is capable of doing. I have no doubt in my mind that you will absolutely love it once you get familiar with it.
