can anybody help mewith some ideals on how to remove a harmonic balnacer bolt on a 95 camry i have trieda airimpact wrench , a breaker bar, nothing seems to be able to lossen this thing up. i am ready to have it towed to a sho p to remove it if i can't get it off any ideals i don't care how maguiver they are !

i bought the book and it doesn't say it is but it doesn't say it isn't .. so to be honest i don't know ?

 

go to Auto Zone and rent a hormonic puller for Toyota, its like a steering wheel puller...2 bolts screw into the block and you screw on the one in the middle and it pulls it off....youll have to put a deposit up for the tool but when you bring it back you get your deposit back so basically is free to use.

 

none of the autozone in this town have the toyota puller ! so i bought a on sized fits all one and went and bought class 8 bolts to th sizes on the harmonic blancer but the stupid bolt is what is stoping the progress if i can get it off then i should be good stuipd little tiny sideways car what happen to the good old days wear everythings was in th front and you had room to work on it !

 

A buddy of mine had a 95 Camry.........it was a b***h to get the harmonic balancer off of his...........though, I can't remember why we were taking it off in the first place.

My suggestion it to use some penetrating oil on the bolts and let it soak in for a couple hours. When I swapped out my engine in my Dodge, the exhaust bolts wouldn't budge. Penetrating oil and 4 hours later, they came right off.
