anymore ideas??? feels like the brakes are touching the whole time and slowing me down

Maybe you better start over! You need the wheel off and then push those pads all the way back into the caliper until it slides easily over the rear rotor. Then pump the brake pedal until they bite. You may need to bleed the brakes and check the fluid level as well. Not a good idea to ride around with the pads sticking! I have also seen it done where someone has got both pads on one side of the rotor! Take your time and get it right; it's not worth screwing up a rotor or new pads coz you are in a hurry to ride. I know I am! After a week of high 70's, it snowed yesterday!!!

+1 to take the tire off, spred the pads (use a screw driver or something, put it all back on (make sure you put it on correctly), then put it back on. "Pump" the brake pedal again till the pads seat once more, and then head off on a test run around the block. If it still feels wierd, bleed the brakes and check the levels. If it STILL feels bad... you may have a sticking calipur.
