helmet issues
so is it just me or do other people have issues with the loss of view when wearing a full face helmet. i have a bunch of different helmets but when i put on my full face helmet i feel like i can't see anything. i have to turn my whole head just to look in the next lane. i know it is a lot safer helmet but is it worth it when you can't see anything beside you since there is a huge blind spot when wearing the helmet. just a rant. one day i will find a better helmet that doesn't bother me as much.

RE: helmet issues
i grew up on dirt bikes so the helmets were different. then i started riding sport bikes but lived in wisconsin so i didn't wear a helmet unless it was going to be a long ride. now that im out here in vegas its going to take some time to get used to wearing it all the time. i know how you feel about not hearing everything. oh well what can you do

RE: helmet issues
Yer ..the having to turn your head to see around and to the side can be a bugger at times ....but as everyone has said ..you do get used to it..
My rule of thumb when it comes to this issue is ...
At intersections, if I cannot turn my head far enough to see where I need too...I stop and look ..
....its better to be safe than squashed
I have a slightly crook neck..(from landing on my head too much) and when turning my head , I can only turn it 80% to the right as apposed to full motion to the left...which makes checking for danger to the right a bloody pain in the **** ....
