Default helmet issues

so is it just me or do other people have issues with the loss of view when wearing a full face helmet. i have a bunch of different helmets but when i put on my full face helmet i feel like i can't see anything. i have to turn my whole head just to look in the next lane. i know it is a lot safer helmet but is it worth it when you can't see anything beside you since there is a huge blind spot when wearing the helmet. just a rant. one day i will find a better helmet that doesn't bother me as much.

You just get used to it after a while. For me when i started using one every ride some years ago, it was the hearing that bugged me, but again just make it habit and you get used to it.

i grew up on dirt bikes so the helmets were different. then i started riding sport bikes but lived in wisconsin so i didn't wear a helmet unless it was going to be a long ride. now that im out here in vegas its going to take some time to get used to wearing it all the time. i know how you feel about not hearing everything. oh well what can you do

the biggest problem i have with my current helmet right now is when i have the visor up, it doesnt go up far enough, the bottom of the visor tends to be right in front of my eyes and it drives me nuts

Yeah, itll take some time, but youll learn how to deal with the big extra layer on your head. Ive tried lookin thru my armpit before and that doesnt work too well [8D]
