I have 2 of the exact same helmets....one with a clear sheild and the other with the tinted one. I use whatever i need. Its nice not switching out visors. If we go somewhere in the afternoon and go to dinner and its dark when we leave, i simply switch helmets when i ride. Makes life easier and simpler. Plus it looks cool to have both riders helmets match the bike!

If your helmet will fit her, Let her wear yours and buy you a new one. That way if something happens and the two of you go seperate ways. You will have 2 sweet helmets. If she likes riding with you, then later on you can get her a new helmet. Or she can buy a new one for her girly side.

i'd say...since she's your g/f and she wants to ride YOUR bike....make her buy the helmet. my g/f got a HJC "Pegasis" helmet for like $100 or so.

I have my HJC helmet that I wear, but I have two cheap GMAX helmets that stay in the cabinet unless a girl wants a ride. I spent all of $50 a piece on them. They aren't fancy or anything, but they are mine. Just because you're dating someone doesn't mean you can't give rides to someone else, and the girl isn't going to want to share "her" helmet, so best be getting them for yourself and only letting the girl use it. Should you go that route, YOU pick it out because its YOURS, don't let her get anything else in her head....

you can always find a good deal on ebay...i just bought my gf a new icon kitty in white and blue for like 70 bucks. i know a lot of the guys talk $h*t on the icons but they seem to have more "girly" helmets than any other company. i almost got her the scorpion paradise helmet but went with the icon cuz i got a little better deal and thought she would like it better. i agree with everyone else though that if u guys just started dating i wouldnt go too crazy with like a $300 lid. there are plenty of other nice helmets that have that girly feel u can pick up for under $100...

make her get her own...or better yet do what i did. just go and buy and extra lid thats a lil girly and keep it for yourself, just let the bw's use it when they need to. that way, when u ditch homegirl you still have the lid for the next curb squirell.

Curb Squirell! HAHA!

My girl wants to ride with me this summer. I told her sure. But not till you have boots, gloves, jacket and a lid.So I told her when she is ready to go buy the stuff Ill go with her. Her smile faded a bit but I think she understands.Tell her to buy the lid.

Yeah, make her buy her own. She shouldn't be riding with only a helmet. She should have boots, gloves, and a jacket also.

Let her buy her own. That way if she wants to ride with you, she has her own. I would take heed to what everyone has said about having a spare lid around. I have one but it is big on me so I know it will not fit my wife. I keep it just in case a friend has a female companion that would like to barrow it and RETURN it. A plus would be that she also has a jacket, pants, boots and gloves like everyone has said.
