RE: Harley Davidson bought out MV Agusta!
Come on now... It is not a bad news, the owner of the company will be the chairman and the lead designer Tamburini guy will still remain as the team leader. And that guy has designed the MV Agusta F4 master piece + has signature on lots of ducatis and couple hondas. I don't see anything bad about it.
To the top of that, the company has 40-50 million debt, which Harley-Davidson Inc will clear, and then they are going to come up with a new marketing and development plan which means new ideas and new bikes from this italian master team.
And then this country will be making money out of this situation is another good news.
Don't you think?

Thumbs up. Finally, an American company with hairy enthusiasm toward Europe. The numbers don't seem quite right though, a hundred mil is chump change on the scale of worldwide buyouts...plus I thought Cagiva owns Ducati and a bunch of others, kind of l i k e Fiat (who owns Ferrari). Maybe Cagiva just sold off a bit of debt to a wide-eyed American tourist.
You never know, it may not last anyway...Daimler bought Chrysler and instantly regretted it, re-selling the American dead weight for a fraction of what they paid.
