I know, I've noticed a lot of hung requests and general poopiness with FF3. Never had these issues with the previous version.

Well what are you waiting for ..reinstall just lik.e I did and do that flash install too ..oh and save your bookmarks because it reinstalled mine completely clean so I just had to re import them!!
