how comfortable are these? do you recommend them for everyday riding? (like 30 mins commute to work daily?

EDIT: do you guys just wear these with jean or what? or only leathers? i ride now with a Helmet (obviously) and Textile Jacket, and wear gloves off and on, should this be my next upgrade? those are sweet lookin.

 

I have the same thing and bought them off ebay about a year and a half ago for $189 shipped. Man you got a good deal. I have size 46 and I wear an 11 in boots and the Oxtars fit great. The only bad thing is that I can't wear them with jeans like my buddys do with their Alpinestars but I guess that could be a good thing because it gets me to wear my textile pants regularly on long rides. I also put Triad boot inserts I got from Walmart if we do any walking to get some food.

i just ordered em. for $129 bucks they seem really sweet. plus i plan on doing ALOT of riding this summer. i cant wait to get them, theyll be the first time i ridden with boots though.

 

I've never worn riding boots before but I plan on wearing them commuting to work 40 minutes and when I go on fun rides obviously.

 

I have a pair of ICON Motorhead in white size 10.5 ..ive worn them twice and they are collecting dust...i paid 120..if any one is interested ..

I ride with guys that wear the icon jeans over the boots. Leathers fit better, as in safer My A*s are functional enough to wear all day. Wouldn't go hiking in them, but they are comfortable on the stops we make.
