I don't have kids but I am an uncle and a godfather. I have to watch them from time to time and the best advice I can give is enjoy the moment and relax. They will stress you out but its all worth it.

make sure u lay down the law as soon as u can i am dateing a girl who has two kids 6 and 7 and they sass me all the time cause she never realy spanked and did what it took to get the messege across so be firm spank if u have and be the man in the house u rember the old saying im ganna tell ur dad brought fear into ur heart

 

i got a girl pregnant when i was 18, she ended up miscarrying though. it did change me a lot though, i know the scared feeling real well. you'll mature a lot when you hear those words, and definetely become a lot less selfish when you find out you're responsible for a person who cannot take care of themself. my advice, save any money you dont have to spend on bills, stack it up for the baby. make sure the kid has everything it needs before you buy anything at all for yourself. if you and the mom arent together, or you arent planning on staying with her, get on good terms with her, the better relationship/friendship you have with her, the less stressful things will be for everyone. whatever you need to do to provide for the kid, just suck it up and do it. good luck with being a dad and everything else man
