Got to brag.
When you initially start building your credit, it will drop. I had a 750 credit score when I was 19, going on 23 and I know its in the 600s, well, it was 1 1/2 years ago, have not checked again, but I know its not any worse that that. Until your credit has been established for 3 years, then it looks bad and will continue to negatively affect your score. They will also look at the balance to limit ratio to see how much of your credit you have used. And actually, you want to pay a little interest, don't get yourself in debt, keep a small balance, don't miss payments, and wait a few years, but don't open too many credit lines at once, that is also bad.
and for the record, I probably get a credit card offer every day, if not more than one and they are all gold or plat with like super low APRs, thats how they get you in.
PS, I'd like a shirt too, make it a XXX'sexy'.

I haven't used my personal credit in over 3 years. Everything is under my company name. I need to check itout, it was in the 750 range the last time I used it. Wonder if it is up or down? Everything is paid off(never closed any)except the home loan.
Grats Nauree, now just be careful with it
I have seen a few friends go into hock with plastic cash. Also keep an eye on your credit, its ridiculously important. I am 35and just got my first credit card ever like 1 month ago. 12 years ago i was livin large but lost my job and insurance, couple months after that got real sick. To make it short when all was said and done i owed almost 200k in assorted medical bills. I was up to my A** in collections, so i did what most normal people would do, file bankrupcy right? Hell no i went back to being an auto tech and took a 2nd job nights being a janitor. 9 years, 8 months, 22 days later i paid every last penny of every bill i wracked up and my credit score was like 400, now for the last couple years i have been working my butt off, and finally got my score back to around 640. I guess the moral is just be careful, life can come at you really fast, and from any angle, be ready for it, recovery can be a real bitch.
VP my shirt size is XL, and i damn well earned it!!
