Love those canals you have, they make for some nice scenery. We actually "had" one of the largest canal systems in the world here locally, it spread from the great lakes to the Ohio river. You can still see it everywhere here but it dry and abandoned. kinda sad really.....
Hey Rod, that sounds a shame ... the canals are very scenic here and the only place I would consider leaving them for is to be by the ocean ...here is the same pic only from the winter, much better with heavy snow but this was just a light covering ...

Steve is not nearly as annoying now that he has a mod badge and a little uncontested swagger around here. lol I think he's come out of the smiley coma pretty well. 
I have no idea what a chav or an ASBO is. I'm just gutted they decided to show new Primeval instead of S2 of Ashes...

Its amazing what happens when you remove most of the weeds from the garden ...everything else grows much better , and seemingly in harmony.. lol
BTW- I have been set a smiley maximum that I am not supposed to exceed...
