I put her down this evening...
Some a*****e cut me off, he didnt indicate. Thank god for my boots jacket and helmet.
No injuries other than some road rash on my legs.
What a **** way to end a week, have to wait till monday to see if insurance will write it off or fix it.

Looks like a big damage. You should figure out the market value of your bike and salvage value of your bike ( this is how much junk yard will pay for your bike) as well. My insurance guy told me the formula.
Market value - Salvage value = Value A. If the repare estimate is greater than value A, your bike is considered as total

Oh wow, I just had on myself on 5/26. Same exact way too, driver didnt yield while making a left turn taking me out.
As long as we're ok, is all that matters. Bike can be replaced not lives.
hope you have a better week!

The guy stuck around for about 3 min directly after the crash...he asked for my number, when i looked up again he was gone.
I live in south africa, so the bike is valued at ZAR 45 000, thats what insurance will pay me if it is a write off.
If the repairs cost more than 70 percent of the value, its a write off. Considering that my fairings, clutch leaver, both air tubes, smahed front fairing, cluster, and fuel tank, radiator and lots of others i think they will write it off.
CBR 600 F4is are also few and far between here and part are scarce/
Looking at maybe getting a vfr 800 or newer cbr 600 rr.
Im really pissed!!!!!

I wonder does insurance cover riding gear being its ruined after impact, or is that just another loss.
Heal up bro, watch out for those cages!!
btw: I have rode my friends 08 600rr, and the clutch is just as smooth as my 08 1000rr. After riding my friends 05 600 the clutches are totally redesigned and much easier than the older models. not sure what else was changed within those years other than cosmetics, etc.

I have insured my gear along with the bike...my jacket is fine (RST ftw) my arlense boots are scuffed but fine...but i did slide face on the tar towards a car...so insurance will be paying for a new helmet, as far as i know once you crash with a helmet you have to get a new one.
Here is a pic of my head gear. https://i.imgur.com/r223F.jpg
I think i will stick with a 600..easier for me on the track
