Heh, maybe it's the "new" factor. I do think it'll succeed because of a couple things:

• It is New! That'll grab many of the geeks
• Anyone not expecting to see a Google+ icon appear on their phones / tablets the next update after beta is naive
• Google can update it more successfully on android devices than Facebook can / does their app

The big thing will be the Android devices though. Google already forces people to create a gmail account to activate Android phones and tablet. I originally thought that was a bad thing. But they keep integrating things so seamlessly, I've discovered they're slowly taking over my life. My music is in Google Music now. Books in Google books. Schedule in Calendar, which my phone and Xoom keep tabs on. My contacts shared across gmail and phone and maps. Hell, I'm starting to use Picasa more now.

Google is like a virus.

Everyone knows Google.. And if people dont know google.. Then they probably dont know what a computer is..

 

I only ever joined Facebook to access to my sister in laws pics of my nieces confirmation. (I was her "Sponsor" & no I didn't kiss the Bishops ring). Within about an hour I had most of my family & their mutual friends & their mutual friends, some guy from the states that I never heard of, but raced bikes, someone wanting to be best friends with my dog (another dog) & their mutual friends, someone sending my hugs, someone saying something weird & had invited others to post their own comments about me........ And I started to receive heaps more emails than usual wanting me to buy Viargra & ***** pumps.
And now there is a new type, nah, my personal life is complicated enough (how to you get these pumps to work?)

 

I prefered google+ when it was called facebook.

 

lol I'm with ya, I keep seeing ppl talk about it but eh... I dont even have a twitter yet...

 

right now google+ feels like a club with no one in it...

open the floodgates and then we can judge
