did he go to quantico for the PLC or ROTC during school? Pretty sure those are the only 2 ways you're guaranteed a flight slot...also, isn't it 6 months at the basic school for officer candidate training then flight school?

Congrats to him and you as well, I had some trouble getting into the PLC back before my junior year, every damn recruiter I talked to acted like I had no idea what I was talking about, they just wanted me to sign up then and there.

Unfortunately for him a 600rr will probably never match the rush of flying jets let alone probably anything he gets his hands on after training.
