watching without caring who wins? haha...i was so stressed out by all the angels and Rays games.....worse than usual....i think because the competition this year was really tough...
i just wish we had a healthy mike lowell for the Rays, and even a 100% healthy Josh Beckett, and David Ortiz...

It did end up being a great series, and just the fact that the Sox could bring it to Game 7 and teach all these Rays fans to not get ahead of themselves was enough for me. The Sox were one hit away, bases were loaded in the eighth and I know all you "Rays" fans were sweating it... but congratulations and I hope the Phillies win. F the Rays and their gay *** mohawks. And you gotta think that if Manny wasn't such a selfish douche, that the Sox would have taken this series and probably be back-to-back champs.
This will be the least watched World Series in recent memory.
Andadmit you didn't post because when you started this thread the Rays were up 3-1 (and you were running your mouth) and it went to Game 7, until the 9th inning for you to know your team had won. I don't understand how "Rays" fans can talk SO much crap, your team has been around for like 9 years and this is the first time you have even made the playoffs, so I guess a little immaturity would be expected. (And I am not directly talking to you, dizzie, just ranting on all Rays fans. They were out in full force in New Haven Sat night until they lost Game 6 as well, then they disappeared) Just saying, teams like the Yanks and Red Sox have been around for hundreds of years, and havelong, long standing history and established fan bases...for all these "Rays" fans to literally come out of the wood work is mind boggling to me... act like you have been there before. Oh yeah, wait a second, you haven't.
"Rays" fans have to realize that we (meaning all Red Sox fans) had to wait our WHOLE lives to feel what World Champions felt like, and I'm not going to even begin to try to explain to you what the Red Sox mean to us people in the North East who religiously watch 5-6 games a week, this IS baseball country, Yankees, Mets, Phillies, Red Sox, even two more teams in the DC area, Florida is a football state, you have no idea what baseball means up here... I have scars on my body for not backing down from someone who wants to talk smack about my beloved Sox... knife wounds and staples in my head, I'm talking REAL injuries... so don't think I'm some punk who "just came out of the wood work" to argue with you. My house is littered with Sox memorabilia and my MySpace page is a shrine to everything Red Sox... and it feels that whensomeone talks smack on the Sox,that persontalks smack on my lifestyle, so no hard feelings Dizzie, it's nothing personal towards you, and enjoy the feeling that your team may (or may not) give you in the next week and a half, because it may be the only time you get to experience it.
And I still hope that the Phillies win.

bro, first off, the reason why i havent posted up is because i said "It aint over till its over to hayden" and i told yall to go ahead and just run your mouthslike the tru redsucks fans that you all are. and i didnt come on here talkin ****e any boston fans...re-read the posts dippy, you started it with your "jump on the bandwagon" crap bro so naturally im gonna say somethin back. and for you to say that all the rays fans are immature for showin up and actin like clowns at your park is complete bs, its more like a dose of ya'lls own medicine dude. my dad has season tickets, really the only way i can go is if he throws me a couple if he cant go to the games and literally at everyf-in game some boston arsehole has to show up talkin ****e and gettin into fights even if his team aint playin there...fackin rediculous. congrats, you and the yanks have been round for years and yada yada yada. wait a sec, why are you even puttin yourself on the level of a yank, arent you a sox fan? shouldnt that name just make you wanna vomit? oh, so now you guys won a series your cool wit them? its all good kid. i was just readin in si bout how this rivalry (the rays v the sucks) is prolly gonna be the biggest thing since sliced bread for years to come which i honestly look forward to. maybe next year you guys will do better, idk? but for now, ima bask in the awesomeness of my team (which lets be honest, none of yall saw this comin) and enjoy the world series (prolly from a sports bar tho lol). either if they win or lose, im proud of em for actually gettin this far. i mean, not to many people woulda thought that they would win the penant bein so young not only franchise wise but also just age wise.

Good Luck to your Rays...it would be a great Cinderella story if they win. I just love to talk/argue baseball, and us fans up here in the North East have been spoiled lately, so enjoy it man. Game 1 tonight!!
And most of my best friends are Yankees fans. The others are Sox fans. That's how it is in CT, constantly arguing baseball.
And we have won 2 Series, played in 4 of the last 6 ALCS', that's a good run. And we were 1inning away from beating the Rays with half our starters out. If Francona doesn't totally blow game 2, we would have won. But whatever, it's all water under the bridge...enjoy the Series.
No hard feelings on this end, homey...and actually, I was reading something that SI did call it like 3 years ago in an article. But when you come in last place for 9 years straight, all those #1 picks have to add up eventually, lol.
