Boooo! Glocks feel like you're holding a brick with the lack of ergos. Go with a Sig, or Beretta. If you must have composite, go with HK USP series.

Depends on what you want it for. I like glocks for utilities, camping, hunting back-up...something I don't mind beating up....they're ugly IMHO....but....they work, period. That caliber is nice depending on what it's out of, I have a G23, and it's a bit snappy but I keep em all on target. To each his own, if you want a plain jane, dependable pistol then go for it. Make sure it's comfortable or better see if one of your buddies has one and go shoot it to see how YOU like it.

Ive got 2 Springfields an XD 9mm and a Mil Spec 45(a cannon) and chose Springfield because of its LIFETIME WARRANTY...something i dont think many maufacturers have....but to each his own....God Bless America...

BUY IT, BUY IT, BUY IT!

I've got a 22 and I love that thing. I agree with the statement about them being a little unattractive, but it'll grow on you. And they're BIG TIME reliable.

Secondly, I've got a S&W 9mm and the .40 packs way more punch. It's a great caliber... most (I'd say 90% if not more) police departments use .40 nowadays.

I carry a Glock 21 .45 cal. Love the thing. Every P.D. in my area carries it. Punches quite a hole!

Get a "real" gun like a Sig Sauer P220. I prefer my weapons to be made of metal and pack a punch.
