I dont think anyone here minds the fact they are there, it is the fact that if anyone sees your screen, they see an *** on the screen. now, you might see that on the beach, or on your campus, but that doesnt mean my boss wont mind if he walks in and despite all the legitimate text or other images on the screen, the one that sticks out is the little boxes with asses in them.
Regardless of what everyone thinks, the ruling has been made, it was fine until someone objected it, which just happened, we support that opinion, so lets get them avys changed. On a side note, I dont think the signatures are much of an issue as they tend to be miraged in.

While I do enjoy looking at some of the avatars- I think it is crude and degrading to women. Plus, I have to agree with the whole at-work-thing. There's a fix for this, don't want to see Avatars?
Login.
Select "My Profile" at the top of the forum.
Scroll to the "Speed Options" setting.
Check the "Don't show members Avatar in posts"
Click save at the bottom. (It may be "Update Settings" or something along the lines...you get the picture.)
There's also options to not show pictures period. Adjust as you will.
