Default Girlfriends/boyfriends concerned?

if you had your gf/bf before you started riding.. where they so concerned about your safety that they didnt want you doing it?

Edit: my girlfriend is totally fine with it, but i know two other girls who didn't let their boyfriends

Are you serious? Dump her man, she's a selfish broad and not worth your time! Find a paddock wench and ride her around on your pillion like a trophy.

Actually a lot of significant others go through this. Some worse than others, some better. It's gonna be up to both of you as to what happens next.
  • Y'all break up
  • She gets over it
  • You give up riding

Dunno if Yuen wanted me to give it up or not. She went the "I'll make him into an armored tank" route and buys a lot of my gear.

my girl didnt mind me riding at first becuase ive rode dirtbikes my whole life. but once a few of my friends started riding and wrecking. things changed.

now everyone knows theres 2 types of riders, those who have wrecked and those who will wreck. this is what our girls worry about most. i havnt laid my bike down "yet"(knocks on wood) but i have come down on my dirtbikes front wheel and get break a few bones.

My girl knows that riding is my passion so she wants me to do it. Just before every ride she gives me her speech, no tricks, no speeding, be careful, she loves me etc and I have to let her know when I get where I am going so it works out good.

My girl doesn't care what I do, which is why I married her. I don't even need to tell her if I'm leaving or where I'm going.
Man, I love my wife.
