I ride down to about 34, the bridges here get REALLY slick even if it's not raining

I don't ride in the cold anymore either, it's just not fun. A Backlava help with the wind a lot though. I think that's what it's called. Like a sock for your head...

Sorry, but it's ALWAYS fun. I ride unless there is snow on the roads...it's a motorcycle, not garage furniture. Buy heated grips and electric gear, you won't even notice....

I still ride everyday, and will do so all winter long unless there's snow/ice on the roads. I rode all winter last year, 35 miles to work when it was 12* out with the windchill. Some heated grips and good cold weather gear, and you really don't get that cold

Lowest it's been here in N. GA lately is 32* in the mornings when I leave for work. No biggie, I stay perfectly warm

year 'round here too in MD. coldest ride i've had was 8deg BEFORE windchill last year commuting to work. you just have to dress properly and make sure you dont have any 'leaks' in the clothing that will let the air get directly to your skin. you'll learn that once one area gets cold....lets say, your hands or wrists.....it WILL creep its way up your arms and to the rest of your body.

i rode last year in snow. nothing major, just a 'dusting'. i rode down my road one time w/ about a 1/8 mile sheet of ice. a house had caught on fire the night before and fire dept. extinguished it but had water AND sand COOOOOOOOOOOVERING the road. as i made the turn towards that stretch of road i thought '****, they had water everywhere yesterday!!!!!'. sure enough, got down there and i was smoooooooooth and steady on the throttle, kept'er upright as possible.....scared my *** though!!!

YEAR 'ROUND FTW!!! none of mine see trailers OR the garage all year. i take them out to play, lol!

I'm in CT and my bike went in for modding as I had piles of parts to throw on and I almost couldn't wait for it to get cold enough.

I'll ride when its cold....but I draw the line when it starts to snow. There's the instant lowside scenario [X(]
