I'm going to Chicago this weekend and I'm looking for some boots as a late Christmas present to myself.

I've always gone to Chicago Cycle when I was in town, but apparantly they've closed. Last summer I bought my jacket at DGY, so I'm going to stop by there, but I don't recall that they had a big boot selection. Anyone know of any other shops with good gear in the area?

 

DGY probably has the most gear but I hate DGY because they are all a$$holes there. Fox Valley Honda has a good selection of gear as well. Des Plains Honda doesn't have a whole lot but from what I have seen it is good quality stuff.

 

I only went to DGY once and the guy I talked to seemed pretty cool to me, but maybe I just happened to be there on a good day?

Thanks for the reply. According to mapquest Fox Valley is about an hour from downtown, so I don't know if I'll be able to make it out there this time or not.
