I hope they burn the drunk driver in the middle of town for everytone to watch. Is it really that hard to stay off the road when you're drunk? I've been... basically an alcholic at one point in my life but I NEVER got behind the wheel of a vehicle... not on the road anyway. I've got drunk and jumped hills in my jeep behind the house plenty of times but I always stay off public streets.

I wish the best for his family and yours, we all will be thinking about them.

If we ride we will all loose friends and family it is a fact of life bikes are not as safe as cages. it is just so dame hard to take when it is something as pointless as a drunk driver.
Just remember you have and his family the good times to remember.

It's a very unnerving thing to loose someone close in a motorcycle crash. I wish you the best and my dearest condolences. He wasn't out stunting, or doing anything stupid........he was just riding, minding his own business. It's news like this that get my blood boiling because of the amount of times I hear of this happening, and nothing is ever done about it. Or the local news spins it and somehow makes it into "our" faults. It's very angering, it really is.

I'm even getting extremely paranoid when riding in traffic lately (ever since my wreck that killed Foxy 1 and how much of a close call that was).

And to be absolutely honest........I've been giving some serious thought into taking Foxy 2.2.5 off the street, and making her into a track bike. I know I would miss riding on the streets, and the gas milage, and the pure thrill of sport riding, but I'll be damned if I end up in the hospital, paralyzed (or worse) because some jackass still thinks it's okay to have a "few" beers and get behind the wheel, or text on their f**king phones during rush hour, etc. etc.

So again, condolences to you and his family and friends for the loss.
