Friend died riding today...

I am all shook up. Friend of mine was riding to work on some back-roads by my house and some drunk asshole went over the double yellow and hit him dead on, at 7am. His little brother, who I am closer with, and his cousin were the first responders to the call (all firemen and emts). WTF? Please everyone watch out for blind grandmothers and other jerks on the road, and ride the outside line. It happens. [X(]

I just hope that one say someone invents a plasma shell backpack for bikers. Like video game body armor that creates like a spherical shell around you, and everything is deflected. I want that.

This could be any one of us tomorrow. He assumed the risk of riding a bike just like the rest of us. I'm sure he's doing the twisties in the sky. Sorry for your loss. I can't even imagine what his cousin and brother are going thru. RIP.
