RE: Foxy trashed it...(ESTIMATE UPDATE 12/28)
ORIGINAL: Blue Fox
At 5% interest for a 60 month loan...........$8200 is $155/month. Add $1000 to that and you have a monthly payment of $174.........which is a difference of $19/month. So that's not skewed either. Unless you were referring to a 24 month loan, which is about $44 per month more when you add $1000 to the price.

RE: Foxy trashed it...(ESTIMATE UPDATE 12/28)
^^ Federal Credit Unions are the best place to get auto/motorcycle loans. You actually talk with the people who set your interest rate, not some computer putting me into a certain pool and granting me an interest rate. My motorcycle loan for the 06 600RR is 8.33% I was talking to them about the whole accident and said that I qualify for a 5.15% interest loan, depending on how much it's for. So now I just play the waiting game with the insurance.
And RichB, no, you're not coming off as argumentative. I'm a person that likes to argue too, so when I'm slightly challenged, I have a tendency to take it far too seriously and own the opposition. Call it a survival instinct if you will.

RE: Foxy trashed it...(ESTIMATE UPDATE 12/28)
UPDATE:
Insurance ordeal is over. They totaled out the bike for $7700.00 (I owed $7019, so I get the difference). They're paying $500 for the couple of scrapes on my knee, and another $1000 for replacement gear.
They wanted way too much for my wrecked 06 though. Over $2200 for it, so I sadly let it go and purchased myself a Red/Black 07 600RR. I ordered about $2000 worth of parts for the new bike, and she'll be put together soon. It'll be the only 07/08 red/black scheme out there.
You can see a picture of the new bike here..............

RE: Foxy trashed it...........
I, now 50 feet on my belly facing the opposite side of the car, got instant pissed-off rage. Walked over to my bike, saw how bad it really was, took off my helmet and spiked it into the ground shouting just about every curse word imaginable. (plus a few I made up on the spot)
Ha that made my day right there and you dont know how bad I needed it...
