On a side note I have sold my HJC Helmet / My scorpion Helmet and my Yuasa battery (DBEAU bought the battery) in the last 3 days.
Got lucky with the HJC and Scorpion off of CL postings, and DBEAU needed a battery and lives around the corner from me.

It's almost like I've made money if I don't think about how much I purchased everything for originally.

I never hear back from them that the problem has been fixed or anything. A simple thank you or at least some sort of acknowledgement that they've read my reply would be nice but I guess it's too much to expect in this hectic age.
I've never bought or sold on the forum, but I agree, it's nice to get a nod for putting yourself out & a thanks is appreciated. But I don't expect it.
I was viewing a forum years ago & these guys where talking about a bike I used to own, so I chimed in & said I had the workshop manual if they wanted it. They didn't even thank me for shipping it to them.
Sometime before that I came across a Dr Who forum (Club) in West Aussie, mentioned that I had 2 Marvel comics 1st & 2nd edition of Dr Who featuring Tom Baker that they where welcome to have, I still get a Chrissie card from them every year (come to think of it I wonder how much those comics where worth?)

Apparently they were worth ever lasting gratitude. Sounds Like you got a good deal to me.

I never ask if I can have any of their old boxes. I just go to the dumpster out back and dig around and pull out what I need.

I can't remember who it was "which I feel bad about now" But someone shipped me a driver sear cover for my F4i a long time ago because mine had a huge paint mark on it because I bought it off ebay. I got it a few days later mint and brand new and They wouldn't even let me pay them back for shipping! Class act!!

oh and meh I bought a swing arm from a guy here and I remember the BOX IT CAME IN!!! IT SURE WASNT 50 BUCKS!! haha It was in pieces when it got here.. The dude duct taped it together out of two boxes and it barely made the trip!! Lolololol....................................
