If the light doesn't change for me I run that damn thing, seriously. I'm not waiting for ****.

Nope. They actually are triggerd by the same device we can't trigger most of the time. When the light turns yellow and the wire loop opens and then closes (driving over it) the camera takes up to 3 pics. 1 front view (pic of you) 2nd close up from rear (lic plate) 3rd another rear view from a distance ( to show the red light and you in the intersection).

If your running a red light just don't run over the wire loop......

In Florida if you are on a bike and you stop at a light and it doesn't change you are allowed to run it. Most of the bikers I know carry a copy of that little piece of legislation with them because most cops don't know it. Apparently all you have to do is come toa complete stop and you are free to go.

Think about that for a second (more if you need it). How do you know if the sensor is going to work if you only come to a complete stop then go? You would have to wait at least one normal cycle of lights to know that you got skipped.

Makes no sense.

Meh, turn right and go do a U turn. Or hope someone pulls up behind you.

Run the light if nobody is coming and you look both ways [:-]

My town isn't that traffic prone and the cops have only a limited number of spots to hide, I run alot of lights.

Its kinda like that here, but your supposed to wait 35sec or something. I just avoid lights and find routes with stopsigns normally

I rarely run lights. We have so much traffic it is damn near impossible to be at a light by yourself.
